What is EFT Tapping?
EFT Tapping is a method of tapping with your fingertips on a series of energy points (acupressure points) on your body, while focusing on and verbalizing a particular feeling, problem, negative thought, or upsetting memory, in order to neutralize that negative feeling or memory, so that it fades into insignificance. This allows the mind to quickly let go of nearly anything - giving you the freedom to expand your positive beliefs, expectations and feelings of well-being. Eastern healing methods like acupuncture have worked with the body's energy system for thousands of years in order to create physical and emotional health. Now, combined with the insights of modern psychology, these ancient healing arts can be applied safely and easily to virtually any emotional or psychological issue, by tapping on various energy points on the body while focusing on the symptom, pain, or troublesome thought that you wish to eliminate. |

More about EFT Tapping
Emotional Freedom Techniques® or “EFT” is a powerful Energy Psychology technique that can be easily learned and self-applied for an enormous array of problems. It is excellent for a wide range of emotional issues: phobias, fears, traumatic memories, negative thoughts, and may even improve many physical problems.
Developed into its present form by performance coach and Stanford trained physicist Gary Craig, EFT has spread across the globe and is gaining respect and popularity among therapists, coaches, personal trainers, athletes, business people, medical doctors and lay people alike. EFT can help alleviate a wide range of issues, and often works where many other traditional and alternative approaches have failed. As a self-help tool, even newcomers to this technique can often achieve positive results in the areas they are working on. With a trained practitioner guiding you, collaboration, experience, focus, and artistry may allow for a much higher level of success. Engaging in a focused coaching process with a skilled practitioner who is highly proficient at using EFT Tapping can have profound effects at every level. |
Utilizing the same acupressure points used in Acupuncture, we tap with our fingers while focusing on an issue, emotion or unpleasant memory, allowing the mind to rapidly dissolve or release it, and producing a natural feeling of calmness, peace and optimism. A rare glimpse at professional athletes using EFT before competing. (But please ignore the sportscaster's clueless comment about "feng shui!")

While EFT Tapping has produced remarkable clinical results, it must still be considered to be in the experimental stage and thus you must take complete responsibility for your use of it, and for your own well-being. If in doubt, please consult a licensed health professional.
To date, there are over 120 peer-reviewed studies demonstrating the effectiveness of EFT for a wide variety of subjects. Many show a high degree of significant benefits using EFT over other well established techniques. For a review of latest research please visit: Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology/research
